With all of us working together in some way or another over the last 15
years, we have decided to come together and create the team we like to
call Adams & Associates Accounting Services
.
Our
History
Each person in our firm, at some point in time, has owned and operated
their own small business and are experienced in
small business start-up and operations. We are all proficient in working
with bookkeeping, accounting and tax preparation programs such as Quickbooks, Simply Accounting, MYOB, Caseware, Tax-Prep, Profile, PC Law and QuickTax.

Who We Are
Melanie Adams
Partner
As one of the partners of the firm, Melanie has 17+ years experience
in Accounting with almost 10 years within a Public Accounting firm.
She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Operations in 1991
and is a member of numerous networking organizations around
Calgary.
Melanie’s strength is in providing accounting, tax and business
advisory services to owner managed businesses, as well as providing
controllership functions where necessary.
Melanie continues to take professional development courses related to
the accounting industry to ensure she has the latest updates and changes
in the profession. As well as being a partner in Adams &
Associates, Melanie sits on many boards throughout the city.
Michelle Rasmussen
Partner
Michelle has worked in the bookkeeping industry for 22 years. She has
a broad base of experience in bookkeeping software and Canada Customs
& Revenue Agency's procedures, having been closely involved in 100+
personal tax, corporate tax, GST and payroll
audits performed by CRA on clients. For the past twelve Michelle has
provided on-site/off-site bookkeeping services, training and support
services to a variety of small to medium businesses within the Calgary
area.
Dani Gratto
Bookkeeper/Office Manager
Dani is the youngest member of our team. For the past 8 years she has
provided administrative and bookkeeping support for us while attending
college. She spent a year working full-time at a Public Accounting firm
in an administrative role and was fortunate enough to gain experience in
personal taxes, working with the accounting firm through a full tax
season. She is now in charge of our Personal tax administration and
preparation, as well as doing the bookkeeping for many of our clients.
